Navy Color Uses
Navy is used for:
- Headings at level 1
- Main navigation area background color
- Background color for the first and last slide of a presentation
- Primary action buttons
Teal Color Uses
Teal is used for:
- Headings at level 2
- Spelled-out version of Office of Technology Services
- Secondary action buttons
Orange Color Uses
Orange is used for:
- Accent buttons
- Louisiana shape in the OTS logo
Do not use as a text color on light backgrounds.

Normal Text Color Uses
Used for body text and any text which isn’t a heading.
Dark Text Color Uses
Used for headings at level 3, bolded text in paragraphs.
Background Color Uses
Used as the color of backgrounds in digital products because it eliminates the optical strain caused by white as a background color.
Danger Red Color Uses
Used for the main color for signals of a destructive action or messaging about things strictly forbidden.
Info Blue Color Uses
Used for the main color for signals of an informative nature, links in paragraph text.
Caution Yellow Color Uses
Used for the main color for signals or messages for which the reader or user needs to be strongly advised about.
Do not use as a text color on light backgrounds.
Success Green Color Uses
Used for the main color for signals of a successful action or messages with satisfactory tones.
